IP 265
In the operand's assignment line, you can:
view the assignment of direct to symbolic address made in the IP 265 assignment list
( Section 9.4.2)
dissolve the existing assignment of direct to symbolic address
generate a new assignment of direct to symbolic address
modify the existing operand commentary
generate a new operand commentary
The same input options are available as for editing of the IP 265 assignment list ( Section 9.4.2).
Proceed as follows to make entries in the assignment line:
Move the cursor to the input field
Activate the Input mode with <1>
Press <CORR>.
The cursor jumps to the assignment line for the current input field.
Type the assignment line (you can jump to the next (previous) input field with <TAB>
(<SHIFT><TAB>)):

To continue:
Confirm entries in the assignment line with <1>. The current identifier is transferred to the
operand input field in the marginal bar.
Exit the assignment line without changing the original contents of the input field with <ESC>.
Terminate input with <1> or <INSERT>.
In addition to the symbolic COM 265 identifiers, the following symbols are automatically faded into
the input fields for operands in the margin bars:

The input fields in the margin bars can accommodate 16 characters. If you enter a symbolic
identifier which exceeds 16 characters, the 16th character appears as "* " in the operand input field
when the entry is confirmed.
