6.1 SIMATIC RTU3000C
12 - 24 V DC via the power supply unit. Optional modules are available for energy self-
sufficient use cases: An accumulator with a solar panel or up to six redundant connectable
battery modules. All options can be combined with each other.
The RTUs can be used for monitoring the following systems:
● Pumping stations and water storage for the detection of leaks
● Irrigation systems for gauge monitoring of standing and flowing waters
● Flood protection
● Remote inventory monitoring of levels in tanks and silos
● Wind measurements for design of wind turbines
● Positioning, for example, monitoring of floating buoys
