Description of Safety Integrated functions
4.2 Safety Integrated Extended Functions
● Test torque ramp time p10208[0,1]
Within this time, before starting the test sequence, the test torque is ramped up – and at
the end of the sequence, is ramped down again.
Not e
When testing an external brake, whose mechanical design exhibits backlash (e.g. if there
is a gearbox located between the motor and external brake), it can make sense to extend
the ramp time (p10208) when ramping up and ramping down the test torque.
● The interconnection of the parameters for the telegram extension, relevant for SCC/SIC,
can be performed automatically by setting p60122 = 701. However, the telegram
extension must have been previously created. More detailed information on this can be
found in Chapter "Safety Info Channel and Safety Control Channel (Page 207)".
● The following parameters must also be set if you control the brake test using BICO
signals (p10203 = 1):
p10230.0
p10230.1
p10230.2
p10230.3
p10230.4
p10230.5
You can parameterize 2 test sequences for each brake. Each test sequence is characterized
by the following setting values:
● Brake test sequence 1
p10210[0,1]
p10211[0,1]
p10212[0,1]
● Brake test sequence 2
p10220[0,1]
p10221[0,1]
p10222[0,1]
● Perform a POWER ON after commissioning
