Setting the Zoom Range (ZOOM)

The zoom range is set to 1.3× (f = 15.6 to 19.8 mm) at
the factory. This range can be changed to 2.6× (f = 7.50
to 19.8 mm) with the procedures below.

Set the PLAY/CAMERA switch to CAMERA.

Set the POWER switch to ON.

Press any button to turn off the Bluetooth display.

Press the MENU button.
The Menu display appears.

Select ZOOM by pressing v or V of the control
button.

Press ENTER of the control button.
The Zoom Range display appears.

Select f = 7.50 to 19.8 mm by pressing v of the
control button.

Press ENTER of the control button.
The Menu display is retrieved.
Note
When the built-in flash is used as the main lighting, it is
recommenced to use the factory-set zoom range (f =
15.6 - 19.8). If you use a zoom range of f = 7.50 - 19.8,
be sure to set the zoom to within the blue zone of the
zoom bar displayed on the LCD. If you shoot a subject
in the orange zone, sufficient lighting may not be
obtained around a subject.
