SECURITY LOCK
The security lock ensures that the VCR tape cannot be
removed.
Notes:
If the SECURITY LOCK is "ON", the tape will
eject only if the eject button is pressed for more
than 5 seconds.
If the auto eject mode is operational, the tape will
just stop when ended.
3. Press the MOVE button to select SECURITY
LOCK and press the SELECT button to select
ON/OFF.
VIDEO
The video recording can be changed to AUTO,
COLOR or B/W. In AUTO the recorder will
automatically detect either color or B/W input and
record in the respective mode. Selecting COLOR or
B/W will record in the selected mode.
4. Press the MOVE button to select VIDEO and press
the SELECT button to set AUTO, COLOR or
B/W.

TAPE SELECT
Allows you to define the type of tape in use (T-120,
T-160, or E-180, E-240). This is requested to ensure the
VCR can calculate the "Tape Remaining" time.
5. Press the MOVE button to select TAPE SELECT
and press the SELECT button to scroll through the
options.
V-SYNC
To obtain the best picture quality when in playback
mode, adjust the picture by V-LOCK to ON/OFF, and
adjust the tracking. The V-SYNC is switched between
ON and OFF during playback by pressing the V-
LOCK button.
6. Press the MOVE button to select V-SYNC and
press the SELECT button to set ON/OFF.
SLOW
With this option, you can select between FIELD or
FRAME display. This is only valid in STILL mode
using the JOG ring to show picture by picture. If you
use a single camera on the VCR, you should select
FRAME. If you use a multiplexer, you should select
FIELD, otherwise only the pictures from cameras with
even numbered identification will be shown.
ELAPSED TIME
This displays the total amount of time of recording and
playback. The ELAPSED TIME is a check of the used
time of the video head.
