Processor

The processor spare part kit includes replacement thermal material.
Description
Intel Core2 Duo processors (12-MB L2 cache, 1066-MHz FSB):
■ QX9300 2.53-GHz processor
■ Q9100 2.26-GHz processor
■ Q9000 2.00-GHz processor
Intel Core2 Duo processors (6-MB L2 cache and 1066-MHz FSB):
■ T9600 2.80-GHz processor
■ T9500 2.53-GHz processor
Intel Core2 Duo processors (3-MB L2 cache and 1066-MHz FSB):
■ T8600 2.40-GHz processor
■ T8400 2.26-GHz processor
Before removing the processor, follow these steps:
1. Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on,
and then shut it down through the operating system.
2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then
unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.
