This chapter describes the sadump messages which are displayed in the console.

sadump Message list

Sadump messages are listed below
ERROR: An error occurred at reading EFI Variables(xxx).
Meaning:
The configuration of sadump is broken.
Corrective action:
Set up sadump again.
ERROR: All of the devices could not be opened.
Meaning:
All of the devices could not be opened.
Corrective action:
Set up sadump again.
ERROR: All of the devices could not be used.
Meaning:
All of the devices could not be used.
Corrective action:
Set up sadump again. Or reboot system and convert memory dump to a file to make dump device available.
ERROR: I/O error occurred at writing memory image.
Meaning:
I/O error occurred at writing memory image.
Corrective action:
Set up sadump again.
