To delete a file or folder
1 In Windows CE Explorer or My Handheld PC, select the
file or folder you want to delete.
2 In the toolbar, tap the delete icon [icon].
To empty the Recycle Bin
1 Double-tap the Recycle Bin icon.
2 On the File menu, tap Empty Recycle Bin.
You can customize the Recycle Bin to remove deleted files
immediately or to allocate more or less space for deleted files.
To adjust the Recycle Bin settings
1 Double-tap the Recycle Bin icon. Make sure no files are
selected.
2 On the File menu, tap Properties.
3 To remove deleted files immediately, select the Do not
move files to the Recycle Bin check box.
4 To adjust the amount of storage memory allocated to
deleted files, move the slider.

The Microsoft compact disk that came with your Velo 500 includes
Windows CE Services 2.0 with ActiveSync™, a program that
enables you to transfer files between your desktop computer and
Velo 500, to synchronize data from the Pocket Outlook programs
on your Velo 500 with Outlook or Schedule+ on your desktop
computer, transfer e-mail messages from Inbox on your Velo 500
to either Outlook or Microsoft Exchange, and synchronize
documents, spreadsheets, or data files. This section tells how to
install Windows CE Services 2.0 with ActiveSync and gives you
an overview of the functions. For detailed procedures, refer to
Windows CE Services Help on your desktop computer.
In addition to Windows CE Services 2.0, the Windows CE Services
compact disc contains Microsoft Schedule+ 7.0a and updates
to the Windows Messaging System (Microsoft Exchange) and
Windows 95 Dial-Up Networking. The installation program will
check for and install these components, as necessary, to ensure
that you can set up and run Windows CE Services 2.0.
