When Replacing the Battery in the Fax Cartridge

The fax cartridge contains a small lithium battery that supplies power to
the time and date clock. This battery should be changed every two to three
years.
CAUTION
Be sure the printer's power is turned off before the fax cartridge
is removed or installed and that the phone line is disconnected
before removing the controller.
CAUTION
Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced.
Replace only with the same or equivalent type recommended by
the manufacturer.
Dispose of used batteries according to the manufacturer's
instructions.
