Separate
all parts
from
packing
materials
and check
each
one with
the "Table
of Loose
Parts"
to make
certain
all
items
are accounted
for,
before
discarding
any
packing
material.
If any parts
are missing,
do not attempt
to assemble
the
lathe olug in the power
cord or turn
the switch on until
the
missing
parts
are
obtained
and
are
installed
correctly.
Using a 7/16"
wrench,
remove the wood
blocks
attached
to
the Lathe.
Save the nuts, bolts
and washers,
you
wilt
need
for attaching
the Lathe to the bench.
Remove
the protective
oil that
is applied
to the bed. Use
any
ordinary
household
type
grease
and
spot
remover.
CAUTION:
Never use gasoline, naptha
or similar
highly volatile solvents.
Apply
a coat of automobile
wax to the bed, Wipe all parts
thoroughly
with
a ciean dry cloth,
