This sets the Management Port to COM2. You can change these settings to
resolve a resource conflict with another device installed in your server. If
you choose to set Management Port to "Disabled," pcAnywhere Host and
DOS file-transfer capabilities are rendered non-functional. However, all
other port features will still function.
NOTE
If you are configuring a Windows NT or 2000 server, you must
change the COM port used by the pcAnywhere Host program.
HP NetServers do not allow the sharing of IRQs between
multiple devices. Use the Windows Control Panel to check that
the correct base I/O addresses and Interrupts have been selected
for your COM ports.
4. Press Escape to return to the Main menu and press [F10] to save your
configuration changes and exit the BIOS Configuration Utility.
Your changes are saved and you are returned to the normal bootup process.
You can create the HP Utility Partition to allow remote access to utilities such as:
DiagTools diagnostic software
File transfer
Server BIOS update
Setup Using the Integrated RA Configuration Utility
To use the Integrated RA Configuration Utility, you need to open up the HP
NetServer Navigator and start the utility.
To configure the Integrated RA:
1. Boot the HP NetServer from the HP NetServer Navigator CD-ROM.
2. From the Navigator's Main menu, click Configure the Server.
The utility displays three options:
