Operation of keys
Purpose
To stop playback
To let playback pause Press the CD 6 key. Press it again to resume playback.
To skip a track
To fast forward audio Press and hold the ¡ key on the remote during playback, and re-
To fast reverse audio
To start playback
from the desired track remote.
To take out the CD :
Stop playback by pressing the 7STOP key, then press the area marked 0PUSH OPEN on
the CD door to open it.
÷ Do not force open or close the CD door, for this will lead to malfunction.
÷ When a CD has been inserted while the power is OFF, simply pressing the CD 6 key in the
STANDBY mode (page 71) turns the power ON and starts playback. (One-touch operation)
÷ When a CD-TEXT compatible disc is played on this system, it automatically displays the disc title
and track titles in the disc provided that these titles are input in alphanumeric characters. The
system may sometimes be unable to play certain characters even when a CD-TEXT disc is played.
÷ For the types of CDs that can be played on this unit, see "Discs which can be played with this unit"
(page 61).
Operation
Press the 7STOP key.
Press the ¢ key to skip to the next track.
Press the 4 key quickly twice to skip to the previous track.

Press and hold the 1 key on the remote during playback, and re-
lease the key at the position you want to restart normal playback.
Specify the desired track number using the numeric keys on the

Track No 23 : +10,+10, 3
If "PGM" is lit, turn it off by pressing the PGM key on the remote.
