4.1 Configuring Via WebUI
4.1.1

Overview

The D-Link firewall can be configured using a web interface. A web
interface is usually a fast and efficient way to configure a firewall, that does
not require the administrator to install any specific programs to configure
the firewall. This will also allow the administrator to configure the firewall
remotely, virtually from anywhere in the world.
4.1.2

Interface Layout

Before using the WebUI interface, the user will have to be authenticated by
entering username/password in the authentication window, shown in
Figure 4.1.
Once logged into the WebUI, the user will be presented a page with three
distinct sections, as shown in Figure 4.2:
