TROUBLESHOOTING

Symptoms
The battery error indicator flashes.
The battery temperature indicator is ON.
The battery temperature indicator flashes.

Battery status (state of charge)
The battery is 76% - 100% charged.
The battery is 51% - 75% charged.
The battery is 26% - 50% charged.
Cause
The battery is empty.
Heavy workload in combination with very low bat-
tery temperature.
The battery does not operate. The operating
range of the battery is at its limit.
The battery is too cold or too hot to use.
The battery is near its temperature limits.

1 charging indicator flashes
Action
Charge the battery.
Make the battery warm. For example, move it in-
doors or operate at low speed until the battery is
warm.
Remove the battery from the product. Let the bat-
tery rest, and then push the battery indicator but-
ton.
Keep the battery in an ambient temperature be-
tween -10°C (14°F) and 40°C (104°F). When the
battery has the correct temperature, it can be
used again.
Decrease the speed and/or workload. Keep the
battery in the preferred temperature between
+10°C (50°F) and +30°C (86°F) for optimal per-
formance.
Battery status (state of charge)
The battery is 10% - 25% charged.
The battery is 0% - 10% charged.
