1 Select the source to be recorded.
• Select a source other than TAPE 1 or TAPE 2,
O Set cassette deck 1 or 2 to the record-pause
^ mode.

Record-pause mode
A source can be recorded on cassette decks 1 and 2
simultaneously.
O Play the source component to be recorded, and
^ start recording it on the cassette deck.
o
Recording starts.
Note on recording
The input source cannot be changed while a cassette deck con¬
nected to this unit via the system control cord is in the record
mode. When it is required to change the input source, first stop
the cassette deck.

• Select a source other than TAPE 1.
2 Set the cassette deck connected to TAPE 2 to
playback mode and start recording on the
cassette deck connected to TAPE 1.
• The sound of TAPE 2 can be heard from the speakers.
• Do not select TAPE 1 while dubbing.

1 Press the TAPE 1 key.
2 Set the cassette deck connected to TAPE 1 to
playback mode and start recording on the
cassette deck connected to TAPE 2.

Note on dubbing using double cassettedeck
For the tape-to-tape dubbing procedure using a double-cassette
deck, please read the instruction manual provided with the cas¬
sette deck.
