Power Sources
Power to the camera is supplied from the recorder. Three different sources are available for power¬
ing the recorder: two external power sources (a 220/240, 50 Hz mains outlet; or a 12 V DC car bat¬
tery) and one internal source (a battery pack).
All power sources shown are sold separately from the recorder.
External Power Sources
AC Outlet
We recommend using one of the following external power sources when recording indoors or at lo¬
cations where an AC outlet is available.
1. Using the Canon Compact Power Adapter CA-30 as the power sou rce.
