Loading tapes
1. Select the forward play ( B) both for TAPE 1 and TAPE 2. Then load a source tape in TAPE 1 anda
blank tape
in TAPE 2.
To start dubbing
2. Press [DUB.] on the remote control.
To stop dubbing
3. With the tape 1/2 selectorin TAPE 2 position, press the tape stop button |
]onthe remote control orthe TAPE
2 stop button [ mSTOP] on the front panel.
NOTE about stop mode during dubbing:
« When pressing the stop button [ m ] with the Tape 1/2 selector in TAPE 2 position, both TAPE 1 and TAPE 2
stop dubbing.

When pressing the stop button [ m ] with the Tape 1/2 selector in TAPE 1 position, TAPE istops immediately.
But TAPE 2 stops, after inserting a 4-second unrecorded interval and the REC/PAUSE @/ Il indicator on the
Cassette Deck panel blinks slowly in this period. Then TAPE 2 will be in the recording standby mode with the
indicator blinking rapidly.

When TAPE 2 stops automatically at the end of the tape, TAPE 1 also stops immediately.
NOTE about the DOLBY Noise Reduction system when dubbing:

The DOLBY NR switch is effective only to the playback sound through the monitor (speakers or headphones)
while dubbing. If the source tape in TAPE 1 has been recorded with DOLBY NR On (or Off), then the tape in
TAPE 2 will be duplicated with DOLBY NR ON (or OFF). When you want to listen to the playback sound while
dubbing, set the switch to ON or OFF, matching to the source tape loaded in the TAPE 1.

Due tothe auto reverse function of the tape decks, the deck duplicate both sides of a tape automatically. If there
is an important recorded data on another side of a tape, we recommend to take off the record-preventive tab
of that side to prevent from erasing the data.

We recommend to use a blank tape with the same length as a source tape for safe dubbing.
This equipment should not be used for duplicating copyright tapes-a breach of copyright.
Copyright subsists in most pre-recorded tapes.
