To enjoy a 7.1 channel system
You can enjoy the more realistic surround sound
effect of 7.1 channels when you use the Wireless
Surround Speaker Kit (WAHT-SBP2, optional).
For details, refer to the operating instructions of
the Wireless Surround Speaker Kit.
In this case, set [Surround Backl in [Speaker
Settingsl to [Yesl (page 54).
For the S-AIR receiver

Adjust the volume on the S-AIR
receiver.
You can enjoy the system's sound in another
room by using the S-AIR receiver.

Press HOME.
The home menu appears on the TV screen.
Press <--/-> to select _ [Setup].

Press t'14,to select [System Settings],
then press @.
Press t'14, to select [S-AIR Settings],
then press @.
The [S-AIR Settiugs] display appears.
5 Press t"/4, to select [Mode], then press
®.
6 Press ,I,14,to select the desired setting.
• [Partv]: The S-AIR receiver outputs
sound according to functions set on the
unit.
• [Separate[:
You can set the desired
function for the S-AIR receiver while unit
functions do not change.
7 Press @.
The setting is made.

When you select [Separate] in Step 6,
press S-AIR CH on the S-AIR receiver
to select the function.
The S-AIR receiver's function changes as
follows.
"MAIN UNIT" --* "TUNER FM" --*
"AUDIO" --* ...
For the S-AIR receiver
You can enjoy the S-AIR receiver while the unit
is in standby mode by setting [Standby[ to [On[.

while the unit is in standby mode or turned
on. The power consumption during
standby mode increases.
• [Off]: You cannot enjoy the S-AIR
receiver while the unit is in standby mode.
Press @.
The setting is made.

• When you turn the system off while [Standby] is set
to IOn], "S-AIR" flashes (when wireless transmission
between the unit and S-AIR receiver is not activated),
or lights up (when wireless transmission between the
unit and S-AIR receiver is activated) in the front
panel display.
