Protection class
A) P40 indicates that the appliance has been tested and approved for a cycling usage of 40 seconds fully-loaded, followed by 60 seconds id-
ling. The appliance can therefore be allowed to run continuously, but with regular breaks from heavy loading. Continuous heavy loading will
cause the overload protection to trip.
B) Depending on the hardness of the wood.
The specifications apply to a rated voltage [U] of 230 V. These specifications may vary at different voltages and in country-specific models.
Noise/Vibration Information
Noise emission values determined according to EN 50434
Typically the A-weighted noise levels of the product are:
– Sound pressure level
– Sound power level
– Uncertainty K
The noise emission value given in these instructions has
been measured in accordance with a standardised measur-
ing procedure and may be used to compare power tools. It
may also be used for a preliminary estimation of noise emis-
sions.
The noise emission value given represents the main applica-
tions of the power tool. However, if the power tool is used
for other applications, with different application tools or is
poorly maintained, the noise emission value may differ. This
may significantly increase noise emissions over the total
working period.
To estimate noise emissions accurately, the times when the
tool is switched off, or when it is running but not actually be-
ing used, should also be taken into account. This may signi-
ficantly reduce noise emissions over the total working
period.

For Your Safety
Warning! Switch off, remove plug from mains before
u
adjusting or cleaning. The same applies when the
mains cable is damaged, cut or entangled.
Observe correct mains voltage: The voltage of the power
source must agree with the voltage specified on the name-
plate of the unit. Equipment marked with 230 V can also be
connected to 220 V or 240 V.
The circuit must at least be protected as follows:
AXT Rapid 2000/AXT Rapid 2200 = 13 A
An extension cable with a cross section that is too small
causes a distinct reduction in the performance capabilities
of the machine. For cables to 25 m in length, a cross section
2
of at least 3 x 1.5 mm
is required, for cables more than
25 m in length, the cross section must be at least 2.5 mm
