Toshibaof CanadaLimited ("TCL") makesthe following limited
warrantiesto original consumers in Canada.
THESE LIMITED WARRANTIES EXTEND TO THE ORIGINAL
CONSUMER PURCHASER OR ANY PERSON RECEIVING THIS
TELEVISION AS A GIFT FROM THE ORIGINAL CONSUMER
PURCHASERAND TO NO OTHER PURCHASEROR
TRANSFEREE.
PRODUCTSPURCHASED IN THE U.S.A. AND USED IN
CANADA ARE NOT COVEREDBY TH ESEWARRANTIES.
PRODUCTSPURCHASED IN CANADA AND USED IN THE
U.S.A.ARE NOT COVEREDBY THESE WARRANTIES.
Limited One (1) Year Warranty on Parts and Labor*
TCL warrants this television and its parts against defects in materials
or workmanship for a period of one (1) year after the date of original
retailpurchase. DURING THIS PERIOD, TCL WILL, AT TCI_S
OPTION, REPAIR OR REPLACEA DEFECTIVEPARTWITH A
NEW OR REFURBISHED PARTWITHOUT CHARGE TO YOU
FOR PARTSOR LABOR. TCLAuthorized Service Depot personnel
will come to your home when warranty serviceis required.
Depending on the type of repair required,either the servicewill
be performed inyour home or the set will be taken to the TCL
AuthorizedService Depot for repairand returned to your home at
no cost to you. IN-HOME SERVICEONLY APPLIESWITHIN 100
KILOMETERS OF AN AUTHORIZED TCL SERVICE DEPOT.
Limited Two (2) Year Warranty on Picture Tube*
TCL further warrants the picture tube in this televisionagainst
defects in materialsor workmanship for a period of two (2) years
after the date of original retailpurchase. DURING THIS PERIOD,
TCL WILL, AT TCL'SOPTION, REPAIR OR REPLACEA
DEFECTIVEPICTURETUBEWITH A NEW OR REFURBISHED
PICTURETUBEWITHOUT CHARGETO YOU, EXCEPTTHAT,
IF A DEFECTIVEPICTURETUBE IS REPAIREDOR REPLACED
AFTERONE (13YEAR FROM THE DATEOF THE ORIGINAL
RETAIL PURCHASE,YOU PAY LABOR CHARGES INVOLVED
IN THE REPAIROR REPLACEMENT.
Rental Units
The warranty for rental units beginswith the date of first rental or
thirty (30) days from the date of shipment to the rental firm,
whichever comesfirst.
*Commercial Units
Televisionssold and usedfor commercialpurposes havea limited
ninety (90) day warranty for all parts, labor, and picture tubes.

Your Responsibility
THE ABOVE WARRANTIESARE SUBJECTTO THE FOLLOWING
CONDITIONS:
(1) Youmust provideyour bill of sale or other proof of purchase.
(2) All warranty servicing of this television must be made by an
Authorized TCL ServiceDepot.
(3) The warranties from TCL are effective only if the television is
purchasedin Canadafrom an authorizedTCL dealerand
operated in Canada.

Labor servicechargesfor set installation,setup, adjustment of
customer controls,and installationor repair of antenna systems
are not covered by these warranties. Reception problems
caused by inadequate antenna systemsare your responsibility.
Warrantiesextend only to defects in materialsor workmanship
as limited aboveand do not extend to any television or parts that
have been lost or discarded by you or to damage to televisionor
parts caused by misuse,accident, Acts of God (such as lightning
or fluctuations in electric power), improper installation,improper
maintenance,or use in violation of instructionsfurnished by TCL;
or to units that havebeen modifiedor hadthe serial number
removed,altered,defaced, or rendered illegible.
How to Obtain Warranty Services
If, after following all of the operatinginstructions in this manualand
checking the "Troubleshooting"section,you find that serviceis
needed:
(1) Tofind the nearestTCLAuthorized Service Depot, visit TCL's

(2) Presentyour bill of sale or other proof of purchaseto the
AuthorizedService Depot. AuthorizedTCL Service Depot
personnel will come to your home when warranty serviceis
required. Depending on the type of repair required,either the
servicewill be performed in your home or the set will be taken
to the AuthorizedService Depot for repairand returned to your
home at no cost to you. IN-HOME SERVICE ONLY APPLIES
WITHIN 100 KILOMETERS OF AN AUTHORIZED TCL

OF CANADA, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF
MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FORA PARTICULAR
PURPOSE,ARE EXPRESSLYLIMITED TO THE DURATION OF
THE LIMITED WARRANTIES SET FORTHABOVE. WITH THE

to change,modify, or extend the terms of these warranties in
any manner whatsoever.Thetime within which action must be
commencedto enforce any obligation of TCL arising underthis
warranty or under any law of Canadaor of any provincethereof,
is herebylimited to 90 days from the date you discover, or should
havediscovered,the defect. This limitationdoes not apply to implied
warranties arising under the law of any province of Canada.
THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS,
AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHERRIGHTS,WHICH MAY
VARY FROM PROVINCETO PROVINCE IN CANADA. SOME
PROVINCESOF CANADA DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON
THE DURATION OF AN IMPLIED WARRANTY, LIMITATIONS
ON THE TIME WITHIN WHICH AN ACTION MAY BE BROUGHT,
OR THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES; THEREFORE,THE ABOVE
