[9] Firmware update
A
The devices and updater files required for an update are shown below:
Device
MAIN CPU (MAIN)
GUI CPU (GUI)
PANEL CPU (PANEL)
Drive controller (DRIVE)
Four devices (one conclusion)
The version number is not included in the file name.
Since the character sequence containing information such as version is added to the head of each file, you can check
them using a tool such as Editor and Viewer.

"C2KNXS2.UPD", a package of the 4 files, can be loaded.
When USB memory stick is used
Please use a USB memory stick formatted by FAT/FAT32. HFS+ is not supported.
1 Copy a file you wish to update in a USB memory stick.
(Copy only a file or files you want to update. ...(" C2KNXS2.UPD " is recognized as one file.))
2 Turn on the power while pressing both of the MEDIA SELECT/USB button and the RELOOP button.
(Please continue pressing until "Pioneer LOGO"screen disappears.)
Insert a USB memory stick in the USB port when the message "Connect USB storage device into USB port." appears.

(If the service mode is activated when a USB memory stick is inserted, the message will not be displayed and the update
will start immediately.)
3 Update is automatically performed in the order of "GUI -> Drive -> MAIN -> PANEL".
The update status is displayed showing the progress bar indicator and the percentage. Previous version is displayed as
well as the new version.

4 If there is no file, the device will be grayed out and the update will not be performed.
Please note that the progress bar indication and percentage shown on the screen are just an estimate.
5 When the update is completed, the message "Firmware update is completed. Turn the power off before using" will appear.
Please power off and then power on again.
