This warranty does not extend to:
a)
OFF-ROAD VEHICLES which have been modified in
any way from the standard specifications as shown
in the Owner's Manual, including any OFF-ROAD
VEHICLE whose odometer has been altered;
b)
normal wear and tear, corrosion and routine
maintenance, such as the recommended service
inspections;
c)
pre-delivery inspection and assembly;
d)
OFF-ROAD
VEHICLES
from
MANUFACTURER'S identification numbers have
been removed or whose identification numbers have
been altered or mutilated;
e)
wear and tear and/or maintenance parts, such as
clutch plates and facings, oil and lubricants, spark
plugs, spark plug wires, batteries, sealed-beam
headlights, light bulbs, tires, filters, brake pads, drive
belts and fuses;
f)
inconvenience, loss of time, loss of income or loss of
use
of
the
OFF-ROAD
VEHICLE
consequential damage of any kind;
g)
damage from theft, fire, vandalism, explosion, water
or acts of God;
h)
storage costs, or transportation and shipping costs
related to the performance of this warranty;
i)
damage due to "flat towing" (see your DEALER for
explanations).
Section E - Emissions Control System
Warranty (for applicable models only)
YAMAHA warrants to the CUSTOMER of an OFF-ROAD
VEHICLE covered by this warranty that the OFF-ROAD
VEHICLE is designed, built and equipped so as to
conform at the time of DELIVERY with all federal
emissions standards applicable at the time of manufacture
and that it is free from defects in materials and
workmanship which would cause it not to meet these
standards within a thirty-month period. Failures other than
those resulting from defects in material or workmanship,
which arise solely as a result of owner abuse and/or lack
of proper maintenance, are not covered by this warranty.
Section F
This warranty is in addition to, and not a modification of,
any warranty required by the laws of any province of
Canada. Subject to any applicable sales or consumer
legislation, the above warranty is in lieu of any warranty or
representation, expressed or implied, including any
warranty of performance, merchantability or fitness for a
particular purpose on the part of YAMAHA, and any other
obligation or liability on behalf of YAMAHA, and the above
warranty constitutes your sole remedy and the full liability
of YAMAHA. In no event shall YAMAHA be liable for
special, incidental or consequential damages howsoever
caused, whether by negligence or otherwise resulting
directly or indirectly from the use of the OFF-ROAD
VEHICLE,
or
the
replacement parts or the unavailability of replacement
which
the
parts. YAMAHA does not assume or authorize any person
to create or assume for YAMAHA any obligation or liability
in connection with the OFF-ROAD VEHICLE or any part
thereof distributed by YAMAHA.
Original Equipment Tires
Tires supplied as original equipment on your OFF-ROAD
VEHICLE are warranted separately by the individual tire
manufacturer or its representatives. Generally speaking,
this warranty covers defects in workmanship and material.

Pre-delivery Checklist
The DEALER has assembled and inspected the OFF-
ROAD VEHICLE according to the following pre-delivery
checklist prior to DELIVERY to the CUSTOMER. (Some
items may not be applicable to all models.)
Appearance
Check for and correct superficial damage or missing
parts
Brakes
Check brake system for correct operation and
performance
Check and adjust parking brake operation
Clean brake discs using an oil-free solvent (if
applicable)
Clutch
Check clutch for correct operation
Fluid levels
Check and adjust brake reservoir fluid level (if
applicable)
Drain carburetor float bowl
Check and adjust engine oil level
Check and top-up front and rear differential oil levels
Drive system
Check and adjust the shift linkage as necessary
Cooling system
Check and adjust coolant strength and level
Visually inspect cooling system
Bleed cooling system if necessary
Fuel system
Check and adjust full choke operation
Check fuel system for leaks and operation
OFF-ROAD
VEHICLE

Fill with correct fuel as per Owner's Manual

Throttle system
Check for correct throttle cable routing, adjustment
and operation
Wheels/Tires
Check wheel nuts for correct torque
Check and adjust tire pressures as per the Owner's
Manual

Suspension
Lubricate all grease points
Check operation and adjustment
Steering/control
Check for smooth steering operation
Check operation and adjust if necessary
Check and adjust controls for fit and comfort
Electrical system
Charge battery (if applicable) as per the Assembly
Manual
Check all lights, including safety-warning systems
Check and adjust starter system, including safety
switches
Other items
Examine tool kit for correct contents
Check all fasteners, nuts and bolts
Check seat belts (if applicable) for smooth operation
and proper latching
Check cargo bed for proper latching
Service foam air filter with Yamaha foam filter oil as
necessary
Test ride
Test ride and check for any abnormal noise or function
