7. Move the shift lever from the "N" (Neutral) position
to the "F" (Forward) or "R" (Reverse) position.

NOTICE
Operating the shift lever rapidly will apply load on
the transmission (HST) and could cause damage to
the parts and oil leakage.
TIP
• If the engine speed drops excessively and snow is
not being blown properly, you may be driving the
Snowblower too quickly. Reduce the speed.
• Snow is blown more effectively when the Snow-
blower is driven slowly.
8. When releasing the drive clutch lever, the auger

clutch lever automatically returns to its original
position, the auger rotation stops, and the Snow-
blower stops moving.
