1. Drive clutch lever
NOTICE
To prevent damage the drive train of the Snow-
blower, be sure to move the shift lever to the "N"
(Neutral) position first, and then hold the drive
clutch lever.

1. Auger clutch lever
TIP
If the auger clutch lever is pulled up fully while you are
holding the drive clutch lever, the auger clutch lever will
become fixed to its pull-up position. The Snowblower
will still travel and blow snow. The shift lever, chute
direction control lever, chute deflector control lever, or
throttle lever can be controlled with your right hand.

TIP
• When you want to blow snow farther away or to oper-
ate the Snowblower at increased engine speed,
move the throttle lever to the "FAST (START)
position.
• When you want to clear snow quietly or operate the
Snowblower at a low engine speed, move the throttle
lever to the "SLOW
Adjust the snow blowing distance by using the
chute deflector control lever.
Make sure that the shift lever is in the "N" (Neutral)
position, and hold the drive clutch lever.
Pull the auger clutch lever. The auger starts rotat-
ing.
Move the throttle lever to the "FAST (START)
position.
