Prepare the IED for verification of settings outlined in Section
10.8.4.1
Verifying the signals and settings
Make sure that the function is connected to SMAI function with I2P signal.
Delta supervision function has four different modes of operation. Proceed as follows to test the
function in a particular mode.

Set the constant current input of IL1 = 1A at 0° and IL2 = 1A at 180° secondary at rated
frequency.

Based on the mode of operation, carry out the following changes on input condition of Step
detect start condition.

Completing the test
Continue to test another function or end the test by changing the TestMode setting to Off. Restore
connections and settings to their original values, if they were changed for testing purposes.

Make sure that the function is connected to any of the available real derived outputs, for example the
P output signal of the CMMXU function.
