Mind the clearance around the machine, see 7.2.4 EBM System Minimum Clearance .
1. Place the chamber cabinet in its final position. Place
the control cabinet next to the chamber cabinet
leaving a gap of 250 mm. Once the inter-cabinet
connections are made the control cabinet will be
moved towards the chamber cabinet.
Place the cabinets close to the final position, leav-
ing a 2 2 5 5 0 0 m m m m (1) gap between the cabinets.
2. Place a spirit level on the vacuum chamber roof.
3. Level the chamber cabinet both in front-back and
right-left direction with the cabinet feet ensuring that
the cabinet feet are in contact with the floor.
4. Make sure that there is a minimum of 1 1 5 5 0 0 m m m m (2)
clearance between the floor and machine.

If the distance between the floor and machine is lower than 130 mm, the powder trolley will not
be able to reach the powder hoppers or the build tank.
5. Secure all the cabinet feet with the locking nuts.

This is only a rough alignment of the cabinets. Once the cabinets are connected, a final alignment
is done.

Both cabinets are equipped with transportation beams to protect vital ma-
chine components during shipment and to ensure safe handling when
moving the machine.
Remove the transportation beams when the cabinets are in their final
positions.
1. Leave a gap here of min 250 mm (10')
2. Min 150 mm (5") clearance
