6. This appliance is not intended for use by persons, including
children, with reduced physical sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instructions concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
7. The appliance is not to be used by children. The appliance and
cord should be out of reach of children.
8. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance.
9. Avoid contacting moving parts. Keep fingers out of discharge
opening.
10. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or
after the appliance malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in
any manner. Return appliance to the nearest Authorised
Service Facility for examination, repair, or electrical or
mechanical adjustment.
11. The use of attachments/accessories not recommended or sold
by KitchenAid may cause fire, electric shock, or injury.
12. Turn the appliance OFF (0), unplug from outlet and detach the
Pasta Roller and Cutter Set Attachment from appliance before
cleaning and when not in use. Turn the appliance OFF (0) and
make sure the motor stops completely before putting on or
taking off parts.
13. Do not use the Stand Mixer outdoors.
14. Do not let the Stand Mixer cord hang over the edge of table or
counter.
15. Do not let the Stand Mixer cord contact hot surfaces, including
the stove.
16. Never leave the appliance unattended while it is in operation.
17. Also, see Important Safeguards included in the Stand Mixer
"Owner's Manual".
18. Allow the appliance to cool completely before putting on or
taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
19. Refer to the "Care and Cleaning" section for instructions on
cleaning the surfaces in contact with food.
