Day/night
Select the appropriate mode from the drop-down list.
Day-to-night switchover
Adjust the slider to set the video level at which the device switches from color to monochrome
operation and from monochrome to color operation (-15 to +15). This slider affects both day-
to-night and night-to-day switchover.
A low (negative) value means that the device switches over at a lower light level. A high
(positive) value means that the device switches over at a higher light level.
Notice!
The device has a mechanism to prevent oscillation between switching from day to night and
night to day continuously when the device is in Auto.
In case of frequent oscillations, the device will stay progressively longer in night mode. At a
i
certain point, the device will stop oscillating and enter permanent night mode.
Resetting this behavior ensures a shorter night mode. This can be useful, for example, to
account for changing conditions or for when the device is moved to a different location.
To reset this behavior, you need to switch the Day/night mode from Auto to a different
option (Color or Monochrome), and then revert to Auto.

IR Illuminator

IR function
(Only applicable to FLEXIDOME panoramic 5100i IR)
Select the control setting for IR illumination:
Intensity level
(Only applicable to FLEXIDOME panoramic 5100i IR)
Set the intensity of the IR beam.
Regional intensity
(Only applicable to FLEXIDOME panoramic 5100i IR)
Select this option to enable the control of IR intensity in 5 zones.
The device has an integrated 360º IR. The integrated IR provides the flexibility to control IR
intensity in 5 zones in order to prevent IR saturation.
Installing the device near a white wall or a white object might overexpose them due to
reflection of the IR light. The integrated IR LEDs are individually adjustable to solve this effect
and optimize the scene.
Lens rotation
(Only applicable to FLEXIDOME panoramic 5100i IR)
The IR zones are mapped correctly only when the lens is rotated in the default position. The
two arrows on the camera and lens must point at each other.
If the lens is manually rotated during installation, you can correct the IR zones by adjusting
this slider.
The values range from -180 to +180. Values below 0 are counterclockwise, while values greater
than 0 are clockwise.
Bosch Security Systems B.V.
