Timer Functions
Here Anywhere has three Timer functions. The Alarm turns Here

specified stream, Auto Shut-Off automatically turns it off at a specified time, and the Sleep Timer lets you
listen to Here Anywhere for a specified period of time
2
before it automatically shuts off.
Setting the Alarm
1. While in the Setup Mode, press the left or right arrow
button until the Alarm Setup screen appears (top right).
2. Press either the up or down button. The Step 1 — Set
Alarm Time screen appears (middle, right).
3. Use the up and down arrow buttons to set the hour
you want Here Anywhere to turn on. (The alarm will

automatically switch from AM to PM.)
4. When the display shows the correct hour, press the
right arrow button to highlight the minutes. Use the
up and down arrow buttons to set the minute you
want Here Anywhere to turn on.

5. When the display shows the correct hour and minute,
press the SELECT button to turn the alarm on.
6. Press the MEM button to save your settings. The
Step 2—Set Channel screen will appear (bottom, right).

7. Use the up and down arrow buttons to move through the streams until the one you want is highlighted.
8. Press the SELECT button to save your setting. The Alarm Setup screen will reappear.
Press the POWER button on the front panel to exit the Setup Mode.
Using the alarm
At the specified time (see above) , Here Anywhere will automatically turn itself on to the selected stream.

• The stream number will flash positive and negative.
Note: To hearHere Anywhere, make sure that the audio system it is connected to is turned on.

To enter the "Snooze" mode, press any button once.
• The Snooze cycle is 10 minutes long.
• You can repeat the Snooze cycle as many times as you want.
To shut the alarm off, press any button twice. (This shuts Here
To listen to Here Anywhere after you've shut the alarm off, press the POWER button.

Important: If you remove Here Anywhere from the dock and replace it in the same (or another) dock, you must

power it up at least once for it to re-acquire the clock stream data before the alarm function will work. (You don't
have to re-set the alarm.) Once you have powered Here
function properly. As long as Here Anywhere remains in the cradle after being powered-up it will retain the clock
2
stream and the alarm will function properly.
Auto Shutoff
You can set Here Anywhere to automatically shut off if it is accidentally left on (if a button isn't pressed for
