12 Safety Measures

12.1 Safety Circuit

The ANUJ5010 Aicure is equipped with a safety circuit in case of damage or accidents.
1)
If the cable between the LED head and main unit becomes severed, an error signal will be
created, and the Error screen appears.
2)
If the LED head's temperature rises excessively, a warning signal is output, and the Warning
screen appears.
3)
The main unit is equipped with a fuse (3.15A) that to protect against overcurrent.
4)
When an external terminal is connected, mistakenly shorting 24 V and GND will cause the 24 V
circuit to halt. When the cause of the short is removed, the system automatically recovers. Note,
however, that continuing in this shorted state for extending periods could damage the system.

12.2 Replacing the Fuse

If the fuse blows, replace it.
When changing the fuse, turn off the power and unplug the power cord.
Warning
1
Remove the fuse holder from the rear of the main unit.
2
Take out the blown fuse, and put in a new one.
3
Put the fuse holder back in place.
Note: We recommend adding a spare fuse (3.15 A, 5.2 mm dia.
x 20 mm) while operation is stopped.
