SATA Transition Card
For Serial ATA use a Transition card is attached to the rear of each drive, this provides a SCA-2
interface to the drive carrier using the same pins as Fibre Channel.
There is one Transition card providing 1.5 Gb/s for standard Serial ATA drives.
Transition cards provide two paths to each drive, thus improving system availability.

Drive Status Indicators

Each drive carrier incorporates two indicators, an upper (Green) and lower (Amber). In normal
operation the green indicator will be ON and will flicker as the drive operates.

Anti-tamper Locks
Anti-tamper locks are fitted in the drive carrier handles
small cutout in the latch section of the handle.These are provided to disable the normal 'pinch'
latch action of the carrier handle.
