Alarms

Use the Alarms menu (Figure 19) to control the alarm triggers for your Digia II.

The menu options include the following:
Alarm #. The current alarm being edited.
Contact alarm. Select how you want the contact to function. Choose one of the following:
Enable: When the contact alarm is triggered, the record settings defined in this menu item override
any other settings.
Disable: The contact alarm cannot be triggered.
Group: When this contact alarm is triggered, all other group alarms are triggered; otherwise, the
alarm behaves as if it were enabled.
Sensor type. Select how the contact function. Choose one of the following:
NC: The contact is normally closed, and the alarm resets after the period that is set in alarm due.
NO: The contact is normally open, and the alarm resets according to the period set in the alarm due
period.
NC Trans: The contact is normally closed, and the alarm does not reset until the contact is
reopened.
NO Trans: The contact is normally open by default, and the alarm does not reset until the contact is
reclosed.
Alarm frame rate. Select between off, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7.5, 10, 20, and 30 fps.
Alarm quality level. Select between 1 (lowest) to 6 (highest).
Alarm duration. Choose between 1 and 60 seconds.
Alarm to full screen. Check this box if you want the video to go to full screen when an alarm is triggered.
Motion detection. Choose between Disable, Partial, and Full. If you set it to Partial, it will take you into
the motion detection grid (see
Motion sensitivity. Choose between 1 (lowest) to 9 (highest).
