Back panel
Figure 2 shows the back of the Digia II.

The back panel connections include the following:
1 to 16. Camera inputs so you can connect the camera to the corresponding BNC connector. The unit can
identify NTSC or PAL off Camera 1, so ensure to connect a camera to connection one.
USB. USB 2.0 connection to connect compatible USB devices. Use to export and upgrade firmware.
Main monitor. Monitor BNC connection. Use to connect to a CCTV type monitor.
SVGA connector. VGA connection. Use to connect to a computer monitor.
LAN. Ethernet connection. Use to connect your Ethernet cable to the Digia II.
Alarm out. NC (normally closed), C (closed), and NO (normally open) connections. Use to connect alarm
output devices, for example, a siren.
Alarm in. Alarm terminal strips. Use to connect to your alarm triggers; the triggers are based on the
contact alarm you have set in the Alarms menu (NO, NC, NO trans, or NC trans). Refer
page 30
Audio in/out. RCA connection. Use to connect external speakers and/or microphone here.
DC19V. Power connection. Use to connect your power adapter.
