    1. General information In this document, you can find information on how to install the Philips Professional TV’s from the xxBFL2114 range. This document is intended for the System Integrator or the responsible technician of the location this device will be placed. You will find descriptions on what functions these platforms support and how to use them.

    2. Requirements before starting the installation of a TV Before starting the installation, make sure that you have everything you need at hand. You need a USB device and a remote control. 2.1 Remote control 2.1.1 Master remote control 22AV9573A or 22AV9574A It’s best to use the green RC as it has specific functions for this product range but the orange RC can still be used as well.

    4. Reinstall TV 4.1 Reinstall the TV manually If you want to start an installation from scratch you can always reinstall the TV. All settings will be reset to the default values and channel list will be cleared. Note: Some settings like webservice url, roomID, manual date and time, professional mode, professional menu pin lock and logging url will not be reset, If you want these settings to be changed you will need to do this after the reinstallation has finished.

    5. Virgin installation wizard Out of the box a new TV will be in virgin mode. This means that you will have to go through the virgin installation wizard to apply the first settings of the TV. You might need to wake up the TV from standby. 5.1.1 Initial Setup installation When starting up the TV in virgin mode you will see the first screen indicating Initial Setup.
  • Page 23 • The TV will automatically detect the new SW version and the clone file and upgrade both • During this process you will see following (no user interaction needed): o Detection of the Software and Clone file o Downloading the SW from USB to TV will start o After the downloading phase, you will see that the SW upgrade will start.

You can press “OK” to close the overview screen, the installation is done and you can start using the TV.

    5.2 Settings during virgin installation When you follow the Initial Setup wizard, you will be able to set the monitor to PRESENTATION MODE with YES” or “NO”.
