The basic timer is externally arranged in different configurations in various appliance models. This does not change the
way it operates.
Typical Control Pad Functions

Note:
The electronic control is inoperable until the clock is set to the correct time of day, after the appliance is first plugged
in, or after a power interruption. The electronic timer has a memory and when power disconnected it will show display
of last time recorded.
The oven can be programmed to:
• Bake normally
• Preheat or convection bake/roast
• Time bake with automatic on and off times
• Vari Broil
• Self-clean
For a silent control panel:
When choosing a function, a beep will be heard each time a pad is pushed. If desired, the controls can be programmed for silent
operation. Push and hold STOP TIME. After 7 seconds, the control will beep once. This will block the controls from sounding
when a pad is pushed. To return the sound, push and hold STOP TIME again for 7 seconds until 1 beep is heard.

    To Set the Clock When the range is first plugged in, or when the power supply to the appliance has been interrupted, the display will flash. 1. Push CLOCK. The word "TIME" will appear in the display. The timer allows you 5 second to go to step 2.

    Setting Oven Controls MANUALLY OPERATED OVEN COOKING: To Set the Preheat Temperature (some models) Use the preheat function for regular baking as recommended in the recipe. The preheat function reduces preheating time. To Set the Oven Using the Preheat Function for Normal Baking: 1.
  • Page 4 Setting Oven Controls AUTOMATIC TIMED COOKING: To Set the Automatic Timer (Timed Bake Feature) The BAKE TIME and STOP TIME pads control the Time Bake operation. The automatic timer will turn the oven on and off at the times you select in advance. The oven can be programmed to start immediately and shut off automatically or to begin baking at a later time with an automatic shut off.

    Setting Oven Controls DELAYED START: For a delayed start time and to shut off automatically: Follow steps 1-4 above, THEN: 5. Push the STOP TIME. The time when baking will stop will appear in the display window. The words "BAKE STOP TIME" will glow in the display.

    Adjusting Oven Temperature When first using the oven, be sure to follow recipe times and temperatures. If you think the oven is too hot or too cool, the temperature can be adjusted. Before adjusting the oven temperature, test a recipe by using a temperature set higher or lower than the recommended temperature.
