System connection

1. Antenna connection

Connect the antenna as show n in the figure.
Do not plug the pow er cord into a w all AC outlet until the connection has been completed.

Connection of the Accessory Antenna
FM indoor antenna
The accessory antenna is for temporary indoor use only.
For stable signal reception w e recommend using an out-
door antenna. Remove the indoor antenna if you connect
one outdoors.

1 Locate the position providing good
reception condition.
2 Fix the antenna.
In case of bad reception

Lead the 75 Ω coaxial cable connected to the FM outdoor
antenna into the room and connect it to the FM 75 Ω
termimal.

AM loop antenna
The supplied antenna is for indoor use. Place it as far as
possible from the main system, TV set, speaker cords and
pow er cord, and set it to a direction w hich provides the
best reception.
