PBX Settings
If the fax machine is connected to a PBX, you must set it for PBX operation. Press
the keys on the operation panel as follows:

Press 1 (YES) if the machine is
connected to a PBX. Press 2 (NO)
if it is connected to a regular public
line.

Set the mode for connecting calls
from the PBX to an outside line.
Enter 1 for ID, or 2 for FLASH.
(Refer to your PBX manual or
consult your supplier for the correct
setting.)

If you selected FLASH, go directly
to Step 6.

your PBX ID number (maximum of
3 digits).

dialled for access to the public line
when Rapid Key or Speed Dialling is
used. Do not store it as part of the
number when storing a Rapid Key or
Speed Dialling number.)
