5. Refer to the following, and double-click the network adapter that you want to configure to open the Network
Connection Properties window.
To configure the built-in LAN (LAN1):
Click Intel(R) 100 Series/C230 Series Chipset Family PCI Express Root Port #6 – A115.
Then, double-click the network adapter under it (in the example in the following figure, the network adapter is
Intel(R) I210 Gigabit Network Connection #2).
To configure the built-in LAN (LAN2):
Click Intel(R) 100 Series/C230 Series Chipset Family PCI Express Root Port #7 – A116.
Then, double-click the network adapter under it (in the example in the following figure, the network adapter is
Intel(R) I210 Gigabit Network Connection #3).
To configure the built-in LAN (LAN3):
Click Intel(R) 100 Series/C230 Series Chipset Family PCI Express Root Port #8 – A117.
Then, double-click the network adapter under it (in the example in the following figure, the network adapter is
Intel(R) I210 Gigabit Network Connection).
Follow a similar procedure when you update the settings for the network adapter mounted in an extension slot.
