IN CASE OF A POWER
FAILURE, YOU CAN TURN
ON THE COOKTOP
BURNERS BY PLACING A
LIT MATCH NEXT TO THE
BURNER, THEN CAREFULLY
TURN THE BURNER KNOB
TO THE IGNITION SETTING.
TAKE PRECAUTIONS WHEN
TURNING ON BURNERS
THIS WAY.
THE BURNERS THAT WERE LIT
BEFORE THE POWER SUPPLY FAIL-
URE WILL OPERATE NORMALLY
UNTIL THEY ARE TURNED OFF.
TO ENSURE A CORRECT
OPERATION OF THE
GRIDDLE, ALWAYS USE IT
AT A LOW FLAME
SETTING. MAKE SURE
YOUR HOME GAS TANK IS
NOT ALMOST EMPTY.
YELLOW TIPPED FLAMES
ARE A SIGN OF THIS
SITUATION.
IF AFTER MAKING AN ADJUSTMENT
OF THE AIR REGULATOR, YELLOW
FLAMES PERSIST, FIND SERVIPLUS
PHONE NUMBER IN THE LAST PAGES
OF THIS MANUAL. THEY WILL TAKE
CARE OF THE NECESSARY ADJUST-
MENTS.
Note: Do not place small pans on
the griddle corners because their
contents can be spilled.
Adjusting the oven burner
air shutter.
To determine whether this burner is
working properly, first remove the
floor of the oven and the baffle
(some models).
See the "Cleaning" section.
Properly adjusted flames should have
a height of 2,5 cm and must be soft
and blue. They should not lift off the
burner ports.
With the baffle in place (or the floor,
depending on the model) the flames
must be stable. They should not
extend beyond the edges of baffle or
floor. The shutter is near the back
wall and above the broiler drawer.
