Connecting signal inputs

NOTICE
Electromagnetic Compatibility
To ensure high EMC interference immunity, use shielded leads in areas where there is a lot
of ambient interference. In SITRANS DA, connect the shield to the mounting plate.
NOTICE
Protection against explosion
For safety reasons, shields on all shielded leads should be connected at both ends and the
associated production resources should be connected to the equipotential bonding of the
hazardous area. Use only approved intrinsically safe power sources, as described in the
"Technical data" section."
General information
● The cable glands ② and ③ , each with two openings, are available for up to four signal
● Cable gland ② should be used for signal inputs "In 1" and "In 3".
● Cable gland ③ should be used for signal inputs "In 2" and "In 4".
