Requirements for electrical connection

● You have ensured that a power disconnection unit belonging to the device is located in
the direct vicinity of the device.
This power disconnection device must be labelled so that it is linked exclusively with this
device.
● You have checked that the existing power supply corresponds to that specified on the
rating plate of the device.

Explosion hazard due to incorrect infeed
The use of Power over Ethernet (PoE) is not permitted for Ex nA rack-mounted devices.
• Only connect the device to an Ethernet without power supply.
