Installing and setting the Video Recorder
CAUTION
Line voltage cable
Notice
Video tape recorder with 100VAC line voltage:
•
Connect the line wires to transformer T1, connector TI - 34 and TI - 36.
•
Connect the protective conductor to the protective conductor terminal stripe (ye/gn).
Video tape recorder with 120VAC line voltage:
•
Connect the line wires to transformer T1, connector TI - 35 and TI - 36.
•
Connect the protective conductor to the protective conductor terminal stripe (ye/gn).
Video tape recorder with 230VAC line voltage:
•
Connect the video recorder line wires at terminals X2.1 and X2.2.
•
Connect the protective conductor to the protective conductor terminal strip (ge/gn).
•
Route the video recorder line wires to the video recorder compartment.
Remote Release
•
Connect the supplied control cable to the MEMOSKOP.
•
Connect the cable end to the video recorder.
Video cable
With an existing multiformat camera or video printer
•
Remove the 75O termination from the video output of the muliformat camera or switch off
the 75O termination for the video printer.
•
Connect the video cable at the video output of the multiformat camera or the video printer
and route the cable to the video recorder compartment.
•
Connect the video recorder input. Ensure 75O termination of the video cable.
•
Connect the video recorder output to the MEMOSKOP video recorder input.

Disconnect the SIREMOBIL Compact line voltage cable prior to
beginning work.
SIREMOBIL Compact units from serial numbers >1300 include at the
secondary side of the transformer T1 connectors for line voltages of
100VAC and 120VAC. A released video tape recorder with the corre-
sponding line voltage can be connected to these connectors.
At the SIREMOBIL Compact with serial numbers 01001 to 01299, only
released video tape recorders with a needed line voltage of 230VAC can
be connected.
