10 CONNECTION WITH OTHER EQUIPMENTS

10.1 SWITCH ON P BOARD

N.B.1)Where upslope and downslope time are to be 0 second, use the slope "SW1"switch mounted in
PC board TSMPA015 口.(The switch is set to "ON" position at shipment.)

Ensure correct application of the voltage reducing device by the "SW2"switch in PC board TSMPA015口.
★"OFF":Voltage reducing device in not activated.
★"ON"：Voltage reducing device is activated.
(The switch is set to"ON"position at shipment.)

Change of arc start process(When EP arc starting process is selected.)
On arc starting, the positive(+)voltage is supplied to welding torch.
(E.P.arc start process)
But when you want to operate ordinary arc start process(E.N. arc start process),change "EP
0N/OFF" switch on the front panel.
[Caution of E.P. arc start process]
In case of E.P. arc start process, when the arc is generated at the same position repeatedly, the arc
may not be generated smoothly.
In this case, change "EP ON/OFF" switch on the front panel to "EP OFF" side.
At shipment, EP ON/OFF switch is set to "OFF"side.
 Change of arc start hard/soft......SW3(In PC board TSMPA015口)
On AC TIG welding, change of arc start current is selected.
At shipaent.arc start hard/soft switch is set to "soft" side.
Hard： Thick work or Thick electrode
Soft： Thin work or Thin electrode
 Change of H F Recovery on/off......SW10（In PC board TSMPA015口）
If no-arc occurs in build-up welding, welding at low welding speed(i.e. after heat welding) or welding of
aluminum cast metal or aluminum bronze, switch to the "ON" side.
Caution:
Do NOT connect any measuring instruments to the secondary side or perform AVC control(arc voltage
control).High-frequency voltage is applied after the current detection if the switch is in the "ON"
position.(Failure to follow the instruction can damage the measuring instrument or the machine.)
