    The ETERNUS LT40 S2 houses up to 24 tape cartridges in a compact 2U form factor with easy access to tape cartridges via two removable magazines and a mailslot for importing and exporting cartridges. The library is equipped with one or two half height LTO6, LTO7, or LTO8 tape drives or one full height tape drive.

    Front Panel The front panel of the ETERNUS LT40 S2/LT60 S2 LTO Library does access to the power button, operator control panel (OCP), magazines, LED's, and the mailslot. The Operator panel consists of an LCD display with a 128 x 64 character matrix, 4 push button switches and a power on/off button.
