8.7 Storing and selecting favorite
channels
You can store up to 18 channels to the memory
preset buttons.
8.7.1 Storing a channel
f If necessary, tap the [<] (3) or [>] (13)
button to display the desired memory preset
button.
f Long-tap the memory preset button (10).
The currently tuned channel is then stored to the
memory preset button.
8.7.2 Selecting a stored channel
f If necessary, tap the [<] (3) or [>] (13)
button to display the desired memory preset
button.
f Short-tap the memory preset button (10).
The stored channel is played.
8.7.3 Tune Scan
When you activate the TuneScan™ feature, you
will hear a few seconds of the songs, which have
not been listened to, from each of the Preset
music channels on the current Band. Operation
of the TuneScan feature can be found below.
Note:
When the device is turned on, the scan
function is disabled until the device has
buffered a sufficient pool of songs. If
required, please give the device a few
minutes until the scan function and the
Scan button (4) is enabled.
f Tap Scan (4).
For each stored channel, a song is played for
about 10 seconds.
Note:
The first song that is played for a chan-
nel is the song that got buffered first.
Then the next song from the buffer is
played and so on.
To abort the scan and listen to the current chan-
nel,
f tap Scan (4) again.
8.8 Live and replay mode
By default, a channel's program is played in live
mode, that means that you hear the currently
aired program.
In replay mode you can access buffered play-
time of a channel.
8.8.1 Replay mode
To switch to replay mode,
f tap Replay (6).
The navigation buttons for replay mode are
displayed:
[Pause]/[Play]: Pause/resume playback
[Next]/[Previous]:
Short-tap: Skip 5 seconds forward/backward
Continuous tap: Continuously skip forward/
backward in gradually increased steps (up to
10 seconds)
[Forward]/[Backward]:
Short-tap: Skip 10 seconds forward/
backward
Long-tap: Jump to live playback/to starting
point of the buffered program
The time bar indicates the gap between current
playback and live playback.
8.8.2 Returning to live mode
f Tap Presets (6).
The memory preset buttons are displayed.
8.9 Favorite songs and artists
You can store favorite songs and artist in order
to get alerts each time a song or artist is played
on one of the available channels.
8.9.1 Storing songs or artists as

favorites

To store the currently played song or artist as a
favorite,
f tap Tag artist (9) or Tag song (7).
A popup message confirms the storage of the
artist or song.
Notes:
If an artist or song is already stored
f
as a favorite, a corresponding
popup message will appear.
