5.1.2.2 Network configuration

Use DHCP: When enabled, IVAS will try to obtain an IP address from a DHCP server. If this fails, IVAS falls back to the static
network configuration after 8 seconds. Enabled by default.
Current IP: Shows the current IP of the IVAS device and the static configuration. The text input allows modifying the static
configuration.
 Netmask: Netmask for static configuration

Figure 8: Configuration page

Gateway: Standard gateway IP for static configuration
MAC Address: MAC Address of the IVAS device
Note: due to missing uniqueness of the MAC addresses in the early PoC IVAS devices you'll face problems using
more than one IVAS in the same network.
If two devices have the same MAC Address (which occurs more often than network administrators would like),
neither computer can communicate properly. On an Ethernet LAN, this will cause a high number of collisions.
Use auto streaming: When enabled, IVAS will always stream measurement data once connected to a network.
Otherwise, streaming only starts with an active command connection. Disabled by default.
Target IP: In the case when auto streaming is enabled, IVAS will per default send data to this target IP address.
This behavior can be overridden by opening a command connection.
Update network config: With this button, the configuration entered in the text input fields will be written to persistent
memory. Will be available on subsequent power ons.
Note: due to the early PoC IVAS device it is necessary to fill in every text box even if it should stay the same.
Therefore please copy past the current settings from the left.
Extended configuration: In case there is an extended configuration present, it is written above the text input field.
