S501-6 and S501-7 : Digital mute switches
These switches mute the audio data of an analog audio
input signal digitally (logically).
S501-6
OFF : Multiplexes the audio data of an analog audio
input signal into 1/2 CH.
ON : Multiplexes the digital muted audio data into
1/2 CH.
S501-7
OFF : Multiplexes the audio data of an analog audio
input signal into 3/4 CH.
ON : Multiplexes the digital muted audio data into
3/4 CH.
n
No audio data can be multiplexed when switches
S501-4 and S501-5 are set to ON. Therefore, the
settings of S501-6 and S501-7 are disabled in this case.
When S501-8 is set to ON, all audio data of 1/2/3/4
CH are digital muted by setting S501-6 to ON.
Therefore, the setting of S501-7 is disabled in this
case.
S501-8 : 3/4 OPE (3/4 CH operation) switch
The input signal to 1/2 CH can be multiplexed as a
voice in 3/4 CH if no analog audio signal is input to 3/
4 CH.
OFF : Multiplexes the analog audio input signal to
ANALOG IN AUDIO connectors 3 and 4 as
3/4 CH.
ON : Copies the analog audio input signal to
ANALOG IN AUDIO connectors 1 and 2 and
multiplexes it as 3/4 CH.
n
This switch does not function when switch S501-5 is
set to ON (inhibits multiplexing 3/4 CH).

Analog audio input indicators
These indicators indicate whether an analog audio
signal is input to the ANALOG IN AUDIO connector.
These connectors light in green when a signal of more
than _24 dBm (in a reference input level of +4 dBm)
is input. They go off when no signal is input.
D124 : 1 CH
D224 : 2 CH
D324 : 3 CH
D424 : 4 CH

Analog audio input level adjustment volumes
These volumes adjust the audio input level. They
adjust the audio input level so that an audio input
signal is converted into a digital audio signal of _20
dBFS when a signal of +4 dBm is input. If necessary,
the audio input level can be freely set in the range of
_4 dB (+8 dBm input) to +14 dB (_10 dBm input) as
required.
RV102 : 1 CH
RV202 : 2 CH
RV302 : 3 CH
RV402 : 4 CH
Factory setting : Reference level = +4.0 dBm

4 D701 : SDI IN indicator
This indicator lights in green when a serial digital
video signal corresponding to the setting of S501-1
(D1/D2 system select switch) is input to the SDI IN
connector. It lights in red when no serial digital video
signal is input or when a signal not corresponding to
the system is input.

5 D702 : EDH (Error Detection and Handling)
indicator
This indicator lights in green when the EDH data in
the serial digital video input signal to the SDI IN
connector is normal during detection. It lights in red
when an error is detected by the EDH data. It goes off
when a serial digital video signal containing no EDH
data is input.
6 D703 : SDI OUT indicator

6
This indicator indicates the existence of the output
signal from the SDI OUT connector. This indicator
lights in green when an output signal exists. It lights
in red when no output signal exists.
