What is "Beta hi-fi"?
"Beta hi-fi" sound is a helicallv-scanned FM sound
recording
system
with very high relative tape writ-
ing speed. The sound quality is of extraordinary
high fidelity as shown in the table below. Whereas
ordinary audio
cassette
decks give
a maximum
of 2
hours' playing time, the "Beta hi-fi"
stereo
sound
can
be
enjoyed
for as
long
as
5 hours'
continuous-
ly.
