Normal Download
In the normal download mode (the terminal can operate normally), you can implement the
software download and upgrade using the maintenance software. Specific configuration
procedure is described as follows.
Connect your PC to the terminal with a maintenance cable, and then start the
maintenance software. As shown in Figure3-1 , configure communication port
parameters as required.
When the terminal operates normally, click the button
Downloading] frame, as shown in Figure3-2 . Then select an App file for
upgrading and click <Download>.
After the download process starts, the download tool shows the current download
progress in real time. The system will prompt you whether the download
succeeds after completing the download.
Forcedly download
Forcedly download is to forcedly download the software and start the software fixing
when the terminal can not operate normally due to software fault. Specific configuration
procedure is described as follows.
Connect your PC to the terminal with a maintenance cable, and then enable the
maintenance software. As shown in Figure3-1 , configure communication port
parameters as required.
Click the button
Figure3-2 . Then select an App file for upgrading and click <Forcedly
Download>.
Power the terminal off and power on it again. After the forcedly download process
starts, the download tool shows the current download progress in real time.
The system will prompt you whether the download succeeds after completing
the download.
Do not disconnect the serial cable or power off the terminal in the progress of either
normal download or forcedly download.
After the software is downloaded successfully, the terminal will automatically reboot and
the new software will take effect.
