Assembly
2 608 599 000: Fasten the drill stand 9 securely to the sur-
face using anchors, vacuum or quick-clamping column (see
operating instructions of the drill stand).
2 608 599 001: Fasten the drill stand 10 securely to the sur-
face using anchors or vacuum (see operating instructions of
the drill stand).
Cut an opening for the required drilling diameter in the seal-
ing lid.
Slide the tension spring 3 all the way into the gap between the
bottom plate 1 and the drilling column 2. Ensure that the an-
gled part of the tension spring faces downwards.
Bring the water collection ring into position and place the ten-
sion spring 3 on the contact points 4 on the water collection
ring. (The lugs on the ends of the tension spring are used to
pull the tension spring upwards.)
The tensioning force of the spring will press the water collec-
tion ring with its seal onto the surface and together with the
vacuum of the wet/dry vacuum cleaner will prevent water
from escaping.
2 608 599 000: The water collection ring can be turned in-
side its tension ring in order to put the vacuum connection in
a required position (e.g. to optimise the water drainage when
drilling holes horizontally). To do so, open the lock 7 of the
tension ring on the water collection ring, turn the water collec-
tion ring as required and close the lock again.

Operation
 For drilling, observe the operating instructions of the
diamond drill and the drill stand.
Switch on the diamond drill and lower it in the drill stand until
the core bit is located in the water collection ring.
Then switch on the water supply of the diamond drill and the
wet/dry vacuum cleaner (accessory). Drill to the required
drilling depth.
When drilling with a smaller diameter, you have to insert a
new sealing lid 6 into the water collection ring.

to insert a new sealing lid 6.

Clean the water collection ring 5 when the work is finished.
